Sammy, Kris and Wilson

Here they are Sammy her Daddy and her Wilson Duck. She STILL grins and gurgles at the things. Its excessively cute. I also wanted to mention I've been posting on my writing blog too, if you want to check that out. My mom now has a blog as well, which is big Whoo. I helped her make it in hopes of using it to advertise for her budding seamstressing business (
She is Tre' Talented and can make just about anything, from elaborate wedding gowns to SCA period costumes and strange fish headed things for my brother's school production of Seussical the Musical. I hope to obtain digital copies of said items soon and will put them on her site.

My Kids

I was talking to Porter Saturday as he ate lunch and I was feeding Sammy and said "I have two hungry kids, yes I do!" and just had this moment, I have kids plural. I don't know if its because I don't have Porter all the time or I'm just so new to being a mom again, but it really penetrated, pretty much for the first time that I now two children! and aren't they just both adorable?

Happy, happy girl

The soon to be pattened Sammy Grin, this is the look she routinely flashes at her Daddy. (Kris insists she doesn't like him more, but I know better).

Here's a now two month old Sammy napping in her Moses Basket (another gift from Gramdma Bluth) Isn't she just the cutest thing? I also (after both Grandma's mentioned it) changed the settings so that anyone can now leave comments, so feel free to comment away!

Hello, just thought that I'd sign in for a change. The pictures below are pretty self-explanatory. We're having a blast with the munchkin. Even the things that people warned us about (lack of sleep, diapers, etc.) have paled in comparison to seeing her smile and laugh.

In other news, I'm starting a second job next month working as a on-call relief person at a few of the group homes here in town. I hope to work a couple of evenings a week. It shouldn't be anything too strenuous, the money will come in handy, and (most importantly) I'll still have plenty of Sammy and Mommy time.

Talk to you later,

"I may not know what I like, but I know what art is."

Sweet Cheeks...

Here we are, me and Sammy, look at those sweet chubby cheeks! She weights almost twelve lbs--No eating problems with this angel-face girl! Healthy and happy, just like her Mama.
